Our Story

I’m Yeshwant Muthusamy—an AI technologist by day and a passionate home chef by night, with a deep love for chocolate and gourmet desserts. I created The Blissful Gourmet as a way to turn that personal escape into a shared experience. For me, cooking isn’t just about taste—it’s about transformation. The ability to craft something beautiful and delicious from scratch is deeply gratifying, and I’m thrilled to share that passion through every hand-crafted bite we offer.

Our Process

Every truffle, fudge square, and treat that leaves our kitchen is hand-crafted with care, precision, and a healthy dose of culinary joy. We prepare everything in a home kitchen that complies with the Texas Cottage Food Law—meaning your treats are made in small batches, not mass-produced in a commercial facility. In accordance with the law, all of our packages include this clear statement:
"This food is made in a home kitchen and is not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or a local health department."
Our hands-on process ensures every piece reflects the quality, cleanliness, and love that go into making something truly special.

Our Ingredients

At The Blissful Gourmet, we believe that indulgence should never come at the cost of quality. That’s why we use only real, wholesome ingredients—no artificial flavors and no synthetic colors. Many of our creations feature a touch of premium liqueurs like Apricot Brandy, Raspberry Liqueur, Amaretto di Saronno, Grand Marnier, VSOP Cognac or Cointreau Noir to enhance their flavor complexity, all within safe, minimal quantities (less than 1.5 ml per truffle or fudge piece). Prefer alcohol-free? No problem—non-alcoholic versions are available on request. Pure flavor, pure delight—every time.
